Three new bishops were elected on the first day of North Central Jurisdictional Conference 2016.

Rev. Dr. Tracy Smith Malone of the Northern Illinois Conference, Rev. Dr. Frank Beard of the Indiana Conference, and Rev. Dr. David Bard of the Minnesota Conference were elected by the 184 jurisdictional delegates.

The body still needs to elect one bishop.
