With your help, the Conference Council on Youth Ministries (CCYM) is helping to shine a spotlight on the issue of human trafficking.
East Ohio has been at the forefront of this movement.
It began when Annual Conference delegates passed Resolution 2014-06 A Call to Advocate for the Enforcement of the Human Trafficking Laws in Ohio.
CCYM then made a commitment to raise money toward production of a 30-minute film that brings attention to the issue here in Ohio. The goal of the producers is that viewing the film would be added to the state school curriculum.
In October, CCYM presented a check for $8,100 to All Pro HD Production Company. The Conference Church and Society Committee approved a grant for another $8,000. It is the goal of CCYM to raise another $2,000. With another matching grant, EOC will have raised a total of $20,000 toward the $100,000 total cost of producing the film.
CCYM was privileged to be the first group to see the completed film. If you are interested in hosting a premiere in your church, please e-mail email@example.com. To donate, checks should be made payable to Fund #9108 Human Trafficking Film.
