Thousands of people from around the world will gather April 25-27 in Louisville, KY, for the 19th quadrennial Assembly of United Methodist Women. The biblical foundation for the theme “Make It Happen” is the miracle of Jesus feeding 5,000 people with five loaves of bread and two fish found in Mark 6:30-44.
Former U.S. Secretary of State, and life-long United Methodist, Hillary Clinton will deliver the keynote address on Saturday, April 26.
East Ohio will be well-represented at Assembly. Participants will be entertained by dozens of talented, faith-filled girls from the Summer of Sisterhood program. The group from the West Side Community House in Cleveland is featured in the March issue of response, the official magazine of United Methodist Women.
