The Storyboard: Faith Witness Transformation podcast highlights East Ohio Conference ministries using the core values of the #BeUMC campaign: Disciple Making; Belonging & Inclusion; Influence, Connection & Impact; and Experience of God through The UMC.

Episode 87 “Experience of God Through The UMC: My Call Story: Dr. Liz Piatt” features the Northern Waters District lay leader sharing her story of how God has gifted and guided her to be a leader.

“It was really my love of learning that just kind of kept me involved and kept me learning more about how laity are involved in the church – the history of laity in The United Methodist Church. And it just got me really excited about being involved,” Piatt shared.

“I always try to do a commercial for lay servant ministry and Annual Conference participation and committee participation at the Conference level because it really helps you get a really good handle on what resources are available to congregations to help support church growth and ministries,” she said.
