On May 17 members of Harpersfield UMC (Northern Waters District) voted to merge with Geneva First UMC and become a new body of disciples in Ashtabula County. Rev. Pamela Buzalka is pastor of both churches. On Sunday, June 29 she led the two congregations in a joint worship service, the final service at Harpersfield UMC.
